Good Day to those who go the extra mile

I’m Geneve Lupacchini I would like to share my story off success in career development within Tourism Management & Public Relations Management. I started as an intern in 2011 at Wilderness National park, where I gained a lot of knowledge, I was fortunate enough to get n permanent position in Knysna National Park 8 months later, where I also gained more knowledge in front office duties that have to adhere in a daily basis to ensure 100% efficiency. I have gained all these skills excellent interpersonal and liaison skills, innovative and have good leadership skills, customer service skills, organising skills. When I stared in Knysna I had the feeling there is so much more I can do to develop my career, that’s when I found Academy of York in 2012, I called the academy first thing where I got the privilege to deal a wonderful lady called Mary, which helped me from day one assisting me with the courses they have to offer, and to find the idle course that suites my career Development needs, Myself and Mary found that PR Management would suite me the best to help me grow in communication’s , so without any hesitation I enrolled to start doing Public Relations Management . Within a week from enrolling with Academy of York I received my study material I was so excited to start with something new and fresh. Mary assisted me every step of the way calling up to check if I’m copeing and understanding wish I really appreciated knowing I’m not alone and there is someone who really cares for the development of my students , and Guess what I managed to get 90% PR Management course when I was done. In that time frame I applied for a new position PA for The GM still in the same organisation I was blessed to have been the successful candidate for the job.  I hope this can be some inspiration for Students wanting to enroll with Academy of York knowing that they will give there 100% to assist you in your career development.
